Independence Lake- Forest and Wildfire Management Plan Implementation

Project involves implementation of Forest and Wildfire Management Plan of watershed land surrounding Independence Lake.  Fund advisors approved expenses for 2 years of implementation but not as part of permanent endowment.  The Nature Conservancy must also conclude the land purchase before funding will be released.

TMWA Benefit:

Implementation of the Forest and Wildfire Management Plan will provide long term water quality benefits to TMWA storage held in Independence Lake.
