Truckee Regional Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention Program

This project or program provides continued funding for a voluntary watercraft inspection program and public outreach for the prevention of aquatic invasive species in Donner Lake, Stampede Reservoir, Prosser Reservoir, and Boca Reservoir. TMWA has supported these efforts since 2010.

TMWA Benefit:

This program supports the prevention of aquatic invasive species (AIS) into the Truckee River System and reduces the risk of introduction of AIS into TMWA’s raw water system infrastructure.
