Optimizing Restoration Investments in the Truckee River Watershed

A two-year study to prioritize watershed restoration and conservation investments (projects) by identifying where restoration and protection activities will yield the greatest benefits for both people and the environment. The study utilizes advanced watershed modeling tools.

TMWA Benefit:

Upon completion of the project, TMWA will benefit by having a tool which can be used to more effectively evaluate watershed improvement projects. This will prove helpful in evaluating and prioritizing projects and programs proposed to the Truckee River Fund.
