BMPs Installation & Maintenance Field Training & Classes

Field training for developers, planners, contractors, inspectors and government personnel in the correct selection, installation, maintenance, and inspection of Best Management Practices (BMP’s) for the prevention of pollution from entering waterways during construction. Stormwater BMP’s are required for most construction projects if waterways, including the Truckee River, are threatened from nearby construction activity.

TMWA Benefit:

Provides water quality benefit to Truckee River upstream of TMWA water plant intakes. Ensures that construction related contaminants do not reach the Truckee River and impact treatment operations.
