Truckee River Eurasian Watermilfoil Survey and Removal

This project entails the design of a wetland and floodplain restoration project for Truckee area drainage courses upstream of the Truckee River. Approximately 1500 lineal feet of drainage way  restored with native riparian and wetland habitat. Project location is the Town of Truckee beginning near the Cottonwood Restaurant/Hilltop area and moving east and north and terminating at the Truckee River.

TMWA Benefit:

Upon completion of the project, TMWA will benefit by decreased sediment loading to the Truckee River and overall water quality improvement in this area of the watershed.
